Placement & Support
Preparation continues through placement, with guidance around transition, training, expectations, and life with your new dog.
We’ll ask about your household and contact information, your experience with dogs, what you’re looking for, your preferred timing, and whether you’re interested in additional training. Service dog inquiries include a few additional questions so we can better understand your goals and the type of support or training you’re seeking.

Is this a formal adoption application?
This is the first step in the process: an Adoption Inquiry. It helps us understand what you’re looking for before moving into consultation, matching, and reservation.
What if I don’t know exactly what type of dog I need?
You don’t have to. The inquiry allows you to tell us that you’re unsure and would like guidance. We’ll use the information you provide about your goals, lifestyle, timing, and training expectations to help guide the conversation.
Can I inquire about a companion, therapy dog, or service dog?
Yes. The inquiry supports each of these paths. Questions may change depending on the type of dog and training you’re interested in.
Does submitting the inquiry reserve a puppy or dog?
No. Submission begins the review process. Reservation comes later, after we’ve discussed fit, availability, timing, and the appropriate placement path.
